Thinking Data

ABOUT ME: Charan Sridhar
My name is Charan Sridhar, and I am a sophomore attending BASIS Independent Silicon Valley who is passionate about Computer Science. I was first exposed to programming in elementary school with Scratch and was immediately enamored. Since then, I have taught myself Python, Java, and C++. I am especially interested in Data Science and enjoy doing projects I publish here in my spare time. I am competing in the United States Computing Olympiad because of my interest in algorithmic programming, and I am currently a silver contestant. I co-founded a First Robotics Challenge team last year and am one of the main programmers. My team won the "best-performing rookie" and the "all-star rookie" awards at Central Valley Regionals 2023, earning us a spot at the World Championships.
I was first exposed to Data Science during the summer before eighth grade when I began doing small projects with my Python knowledge. My interest drove me to earn multiple Data Science and Machine Learning certificates from UC San Diego and Stanford Online. I increased my impact by founding and running my school's Programming for Data Science and Machine Learning club. This website lets me publish my projects and spread information about Data Science and Machine Learning. This website allows me to post my projects and spread information about Data Science and Machine Learning.

In my free time, I relax by playing classical guitar and representing my school on our badminton team.
